Extractions and dental surgery
Sometimes a tooth can't be saved — badly broken, severely infected, or a wisdom tooth causing trouble. Extractions are done gently and on-site, and dental CT scans at the Brooklyn office show exactly where roots and nerves are before surgery. Afterwards, Dr. Kohl will go over options to replace the tooth if needed.
Full and partial dentures
A full denture replaces all the teeth in an arch; a partial denture fills the gaps between remaining natural teeth. Dentures are made to fit your mouth and adjusted until they are comfortable. Implant-supported options are also available for a more secure fit.
Night guards for teeth grinding
Grinding or clenching at night (bruxism) wears teeth down, cracks fillings and can cause jaw pain and morning headaches. A custom night guard, made from a scan or impression of your teeth, fits precisely and protects them while you sleep.
